Again, a recent development has flooded the jailbreak community stating that there is a potential kernel exploit in pre-iOS 12 releases that, if worked upon, could bring something pretty interesting and valuable in the development of a complete jailbreak tool. This exploit allows and permits the escalation of privileges by local attackers.

Does this new exploit has the potential to turn into a full-fledged Jailbreak Tool?
This exploit is pretty far away from becoming an actual jailbreak tool. However, even if it does so and a complete jailbreak mechanism comes into picture, it will be helpful only to the iOS 11.4-iOS 11.4.1 users. Though this will become a reason to cheer for a major part of the iOS population who haven’t updated yet to iOS 12, but anyone who is expecting for this exploit to convert into a full-fledged jailbreak tool need to wait for a considerable amount of time. Recently, UnC0ver Jailbreak is the latest to come into the picture which fixes the bugs and errors present in the Electra Jailbreak. However, it does faces its own challenges.
