It turns out that developer Samg_is_a_Ninja is developing just the same. The developer has teased the creation of an iOS 12 Siri Shortcuts workflow in order to jailbreak Apple’s device and install Cydia as a part of the jailbreaking procedure. Apple, when it decided to take over the Workflow app with iOS 12 Siri Shortcuts in mind, would have never thought that the same can be used by the developers for jailbreaking as well.

Going with the latest development, a Siri Shortcut is under process which, utilizing the tagline ‘Hey Siri, install Cydia,’ will invoke the installed UnC0ver Jailbreak application, jailbreak the iOS 12 device, and even install Cydia as a part of the process. Please note that the UnC0ver Jailbreak version being utilized for the same is a part of the next upcoming UnC0ver update. With this feature, you can simply speak a one-liner voice command and you will have your iOS 12 device jailbroken within minutes.

In the video, the developer is clearly seen stating ‘Hey Siri, Install Cydia’ and later Siri invokes the short cut of the upcoming update for UnC0ver Jailbreak and proceeds towards jailbreaking the iOS 12 device. Moreover, the device even goes through a respring after the completion of the jailbreak process and installs Cydia, the popular tweak management application. Therefore, when this amazing process is released to the general public, all you need is to voice command Siri and the intelligent assistant will do the jailbreak for you. However, please note that, as of now, no complete jailbreak for iOS 12.x.x is released into the jailbreak community. Hence, we are not sure when this liberation process will be released into the general public.

The developer Samg_is_a_Ninja has stated that the process will support 4K devices as well and will be compatible with iOS 12-12.1.2. As of now, no release date has been confirmed but if we go by the words of the developer, they need to iron out some bugs before they release the same. Please note that this is a semi-untethered jailbreak which means that you have to re-jailbreak each time you reboot your device. However, the re-jailbreaking procedure will be much faster than the initial run as the initial run involves the installation of Cydia as well.
