UnC0ver Jailbreak for iOS 12.0-12.1.2 is out and the fantastic part about it is that it comes with Cydia. However, for some users, Cydia is crashing on the UnC0ver Jailbreak for iOS 12.0-12.1.2. Before we move to the fix, you must know that UnC0ver Jailbreak for iOS 12 is a semi-untethered jailbreak. This means that after every reboot you require re-jailbreaking your device with the UnC0ver application. If you do not do the same, your device won’t remain in jailbreak mode after a reboot.

Methods to Fix Cydia Crashing on UnC0ver Jailbreak for iOS 12.0-12.1.2

Fix 1 -> Re-Jailbreak your iPhone/iPad

Please launch the UnC0ver application and re-jailbreak your iPhone/iPad. After the jailbreak process, your device will respring and will come again in jailbroken mode. Please try launching Cydia once again. Hopefully! It won’t crash now.

Fix 2 -> Sideload the UnC0ver App Once Again

If you have sideloaded the UnC0ver IPA using Cydia Impactor, please note that you have to sideload the application after every 7 days. This is because the free Apple Developer ID that you utilized for sideloading will only provide a certificate for 7 days, after which you require sideloading the application once again. However, if you utilize a paid Apple Developer ID, you will have a certificate that will be valid for 1 year. Even UnC0ver application will stop working after the certificate validity period is over, until you re-sign and reload the application.
